Sometimes you may need to clear your internet browser history and cached images to resolve errors. Follow steps below for your specified internet browser to clear the history and cached images.
After you complete the steps below, close the browser and try again to see if your errors have been resolved.
Internet Explorer |
- Clear Internet Explorer history. (Open Internet Explorer, click the tools tab, click Internet options, click Delete in Browsing history section, check all but "Preserve Favorites website data", then click delete.)
- Open Internet Explorer > Click the Tools tab > Go to Internet Options (toward bottom) > Click Settings (in Browsing History section) > Click the View Files button > delete everything in the folder (if files are in there, folder may be empty)-the folder displayed should be something similar to "C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache"
Google Chrome Browser |
- On your computer, open Chrome.
- At the top right, click More. (3 vertical dots in top right corner of browser.)
- Click More tools. Clear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
- Click Clear data.

- Open Microsoft Edge, select Menu (3 horizontal dots in top right corner of the browser)
- Settings
- Privacy, Search, and Services in the menu on the left side of the browser.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- Select "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and other site data" check box and then select Clear.
